Bio.
Fwar

Fwar is the ambitious and intriguing Leeds based producer & songwriter Nathan Moseley.

Musically, Fwar uses animalistic synthesisers, tribal tuned percussion and various homemade samples manipulated beyond repair. Fwar aims to make the synthesisers talk, seemingly trying to communicate with us despite their lack of worded language. Working alone he thinks of the computer as his collaborator- “I provide the human chaos and the computer provides order”.

Just months into his career, debut single Nobody (written & produced in his home studio) has already received support from the likes of Radio 1, Radio X & The British Council. It was also playlisted by Spotify as one of their Fresh Finds & featured on tastemaker blog Indie Shuffle.

His video for Everybody which is featured on debut EP Sanctuary was choreographed by Barnaby Booth and edited by film whizz Isaac Eastgate (Kindness, LA Priest). The song is about flirting with alternative outlooks, seeking new experiences & becoming alien to all that you took for grated. Through Booth’s choreography and Eastgate’s creative vision & technical proficiency, the sentiment of the song was further developed with thoughtful choreography and tasteful use of SFX.

The Sanctuary EP deals with the theme of identity (anonymity, formation, crisis, belonging & attachment) informed by psychobabble and personal experiences. Whilst Sanctuary is picking up plaudits daily, new music is being worked on feverishly for a follow up EP, set for a 2017 release.

Add all this to the fact he has put pen to paper on a worldwide publishing deal with Cooking Vinyl, it all makes for a very impressive and fast moving first few months in the weird and wonderful world of Fwar.
