At the age of fifteen, Steve Appleton began playing piano in a Soho restaurant performing his own material and covers from the likes of Elton John and Billy Joel. He was signed to RCA in mid-2007, after which he went travelling across Europe with friends before finishing his debut album. In 2007 Steve signed his management to John Black at Black Gold Management.
At twenty five years old, singer-songwriter Stevie Appleton has certainly served his apprenticeship in the music industry.
Stevie has an ear for a tune and an eye for an incredible live show, performing on the same bill with artists such as Stevie Wonder and John Legend, and adding to his live CV has enjoyed playing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Wireless and Hard Rock Calling.
Having signed to Cooking Vinyl Music Publishing in early 2014 there are some very bright prospects ahead for Stevie who has recently been in the studio with world renowned producer Danton Supple (U2, Coldplay, Hudson Taylor). There will be lots of live dates over the coming months ahead of the release of new music.
